When you request to join the waiting list or sign up to our application, we may collect and process the following categories of personal information:

When you contact us over email, social media, communication application, or book a demo, onboarding session, or support call with us, we may collect and process the following categories of personal information:

When you respond to the survey
We will collect your full name and email address when you include it in your response to our survey.
Information collected automatically
Logs
When you visit our application, our servers may automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and other details about your visit.
Errors
Additionally, if you encounter certain errors while using the site, we may automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding its occurrence. Please note that you will continue to receive transaction-related emails regarding products or services you have requested. Additionally, we may send you certain non-promotional communications regarding us and our services, and you will not be able to opt out of those communications (e.g., communications regarding the services or updates to this Privacy Policy).

Right to erasure
You are entitled to request the erasure of your personal information that we hold about you. Please be aware that we might be allowed or even obliged to keep some of the personal information despite your deletion request. This includes mainly situations where we need to process your personal information for compliance with legal obligations or for the exercise and defense of legal claims. Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the personal information you provide us with and of which we are the controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to have it transmitted to another controller where technically feasible. Right to file a complaint
If you believe that we have breached relevant data protection law and wish to make a complaint, please contact us at privacy@understandlabs.com and provide us with full details of the alleged breach, and we will promptly investigate your complaint and respond to you in writing. We will set out the outcome of our investigation and the steps we will take to address your complaint. You also have the right to contact a regulatory body or data protection authority in relation to your complaint.
Right to receive equal service
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights over your personal information. Children under the age of 13
Our application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not provide any personal information to us.

If we or our assets are acquired, or in the unlikely event that we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, we may include data, including your personal information, among the assets transferred to any parties who acquire us.
